Job Description
Overview
: Provide project support to Project Managers and/or Superintendents to ensure project cost, schedule, document control and quality standards are met.
High end retail and luxury residential experience is recommended.
GC experience is a must.
Duties \& Responsibilities
:
- Oversee setup and maintenance of project files including but not limited to generating project directory and job folders, ensuring permit application completion, as well as distribution of updated project documents.
- Receive and distribute project information (sketches, drawings, specs, addendum, etc.) in a timely and accurate manner to Project Team.
- Attend, document and distribute minutes of project hand-off, kick off and weekly progress meetings.
- Oversee 100% sub-contractor compliance (insurance/contract/etc.) prior to start of project.
- Coordinate with Project Manager to generate submittal, RFI and change request logs.
- Provide support to Project Team to facilitate planning and coordination of construction.
- Expedite vendor estimates and proposals used for client change requests.
- Track and communicate equipment and appliance deliveries.
- Evaluate sub-contractor change orders to be processed through Project Manager.
- Generate and maintain project tracking of schedule and budget.
- Reconcile invoice issues.
- Assist finance department with project analysis when needed.
- Coordinate with sub-contractors and vendors to ensure timely closeout for DOB.
- Create electronic close out files for each project.
- Work with estimating including take off, subcontractor requests for proposals, scope sheets, procurement and scheduling.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Construction, Engineering or related discipline required
- One (1) to three (3) years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience with Sage is a plus
- Experience with Procore is a plus
- Proven written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with individuals at all levels, both internal and external
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to visit job sites as needed.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
