Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cardiology Physician to join our esteemed healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating cardiovascular diseases, providing exceptional patient care, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive treatment plans and should be Board Certified/Board Eligible. Echo and vascular interpretation are anticipated. Provide Cardiology care to patients including consultation, diagnosis, treatment and follow up in a 100% outpatient private practice setting. No hospital call or rounds.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations of patients with cardiovascular issues.
• Diagnose heart-related conditions using various diagnostic tools and tests.
• Develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Collaborate with other specialists, including those in endocrinology, nephrology, and sleep medicine, to provide holistic care.
• Educate patients about their conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Participate in continuing education opportunities to stay current with advancements in cardiology.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of cardiology principles and practices.
• Proficiency in diagnostic techniques related to cardiovascular health.
• Understanding of related fields such as endocrinology, nephrology, nuclear medicine, and sleep medicine.
• Excellent patient service skills with a focus on senior care.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Knowledge of psychopharmacology and addiction medicine is a plus.

We are an established, independently owned, Multi-Specialty Medical Practice consisting of Internal Medicine/Primary Care, Cardiology, Allergy \& Immunology and Podiatry located in Nassau County \& Suffolk County-Long Island NY., for the past 15 years.
