Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter / Laborer to join our dynamic furniture team. In this role you will be painting, staining and repairing and modifying rustic solid wood furniture. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing your craftsmanship and hands-on expertise to deliver high-quality results. This is a paid position that values safety, teamwork, and craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

• Complete modifications and finishes using hand tools and power tools in accordance with all standard safety protocols

Skills

• Proficiency with hand tools (saws, hammers, chisels) and power tools (drills, saws) for diverse carpentry tasks
• Experience with framing carpentry (wood or metal studs), trim carpentry, roofing, siding, etc is helpful
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining focus on safety standards
• Skills in woodworking, cabinetry installation, door hanging, drywall finishing (plastering), and flooring installation is helpful
• Basic understanding of electrical or plumbing systems relevant to remodeling or repair tasks

Pay: From $15\.00 per hour
