Role and Responsibilities:
Finance:
Preparation of Parenteral Operations annual budget in close coordination with all functions
Support for taking export benefits (DBK, MEIS, PLI etc.,)
Support for half yearly, yearly and other management reviews.
Review of Business Development proposals and help marketing in evaluation.
Review of makes Vs Buy decisions.
Updating marketing on product cost / gross contribution changes and helping in pricing and product mix decisions.
Credit control Policy Framework and management.
Review and monitoring of CAPAX, Project proposals, Payback etc
Monitor budget and actual utilization of funds and issue FRN based on request from concerned functions
Physically verification of inventory once in a year and entire fixed assets once in 3 years as per planned schedule
MIS:
Monthly MIS preparation and detail review with actionable insights for budget v/s. actual
Preparation of monthly Progress Review Meeting (MPRM) of BU head
Automation and improvement of daily reports / dash boards
Other activities which may be required from time to time
Controlling \& Costing:
Product costing run in SAP on quarterly basis
Monthly expense provision \& scrutiny for month end closing
Tracking major changes in product process, batch size, plant etc.
Controlling and review of product cost and analysis of budget v/s. actual cost variance for all sites
Review Monthly RMC and manufacturing saving calculation
Review monthly procurement saving with respect to budget rate
Review of sale of Scrap and solvent and release of sales order.
Review \& release merchant sales order after validation of budget rates, term of payment, credit limit, overdue.
Support to site in costing and system related issues.
PR release activity \& coordination with concerned function for errors, if any.
Tracking Non-moving inventory \& inventory w/off.
Coordination with internal and statutory auditors to achieve desired tasks within agreed time frame
BUSINESS PROCESS REENGINEERING:
Driving process related changes to make system more automated.
Exception reporting if any
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Chartered Accountant / Cost Accountant
10 -12 years of experience in Manufacturing preferably pharmaceuticals industry
