GRADE 5 TEACHER - MOUNTAIN VIEW SCHOOL - RSU24 - 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR

RSU 24 is seeking an exemplary 5th grade classroom teacher to be part of our Mountain View School team for the 2026-2027 school year. Candidates should have a strong background in both ELA and social studies with a love of learning and reading to learn. The successful candidate will also demonstrate strong leadership skills; be a willing team player; have experience integrating technology into the classroom; can analyze data to drive individual instruction; have strong communication and classroom management skills; familiar with or willing to learn and implement Positive Behavior Supports and Intervention (PBIS); is dedicated to meeting the academic and social needs of each child; and is knowledgeable with digital learning platforms and Multi-tiered Systems of Support.

The successful candidate will hold a Maine Department of Education Teacher Certification #020 General K-8 Endorsement. Must hold a current MDOE Criminal History Records Check. Pay is based upon experience and level of education.
