Ram Jack is seeking a dependable and motivated

Welder

to join our team. This position is responsible for performing welding operations on fabricated steel components while maintaining quality, accuracy, and safety standards in a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-focused, and able to work both independently and as part of a team to meet production goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform welding operations according to work orders, blueprints, and specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols
• Prepare materials for welding, including fitting, cleaning, and positioning
• Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and compliance standards are met
• Operate welding equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding production needs or issues

Skills \& Competencies

• Welding certification preferred
• MIG welding experience preferred
• Ability to safely operate welding tools and fabrication equipment
• Strong understanding of welding techniques and safety procedures
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and measuring tools
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Strong attention to detail and weld quality
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet production deadlines
• Ability to lift materials and work in a physically demanding environment
• Dependable, self-motivated, and safety-focused
• Strong teamwork and communication skills

Qualifications

• Previous welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols preferred
• Welding certifications are a plus
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
