Your New Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced Registered Nurses to join our Hospital in the Home Division (HITH) on a full-time basis, providing exceptional clinical care in the comfort of patients' homes. The HITH division of Vitalis provides hospital level interventions in the home environment, operating 7 days a week, 365 days a year from 7am to 3pm.

Location:

You will be delivering services to patients across Greater Sydney including Western Sydney and the Hills district, Northern Beaches and the North Shore, and the Eastern Suburbs.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in Critical Care or General Surgery.
• Minimum 3 years post graduate experience.
• Current AHPRA authority to practice as a Registered Nurse, Division 1\.
• High acuity clinical skills.
• Excellent patient assessment skills.
• Experience with administration of IV antibiotics, PICC management and complex wound management.
• Work effectively both autonomously and within a team.
• Great communication skills to ensure patients understand medication/treatment, condition and instructions provided.
• Must have current driving licence.

Desirable Criteria:

• Experience in urinary catheterisation, cannulation, venepuncture, VAC and IV infusers.
