Job Title: Technical Practice Manager - Data Platforms.

Location: Novi, MI

Experience

• 10\+ years of experience in designing, architecting, and implementing enterprise Data Engineering and Modern Data Platform solutions.

Technical Expertise

• Strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL, Power BI, and the Microsoft Intelligent Data Platform.
• Extensive experience in Data Modeling, Data Warehousing, ETL/ELT, Data Governance, and end-to-end Data Lifecycle Management.
• Proven experience designing and developing scalable enterprise data platforms, modern Lakehouse architectures, and reusable data engineering frameworks.
• Experience integrating SAP data into enterprise analytics platforms using modern integration methodologies.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to emerging data platforms and technologies.
• Experience evaluating and implementing innovative solutions across Data Engineering, Data Governance, Analytics, and AI-enabled data platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, solution architects, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Lead technical discovery sessions, architecture workshops, customer engagements, and technical discussions.
• Support RFPs, RFQs, solution proposals, technical presentations, and customer demonstrations.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams by establishing best practices, conducting architecture and design reviews, and promoting engineering excellence.
• Build reusable assets, accelerators, frameworks, and technical standards to strengthen and scale the Data Engineering practice.
• Partner with sales, presales, and delivery teams to drive successful customer engagements and project outcomes.
• Enable and guide sales teams in building a strong business pipeline, identifying opportunities, and converting them into successful engagements.
• Work closely with consultants by aligning their skills with client requirements, mentoring them, and supporting their professional development.
• Participate in client meetings, technical demos, and solution discussions.
• Prepare winning proposals and deliver compelling customer presentations.
• Travel onsite to initiate projects, establish delivery teams, and ensure smooth project execution.
• Attend industry conferences, customer meetings, and business events to represent the organization and build strategic relationships.
• Collaborate effectively with offshore technical teams to ensure successful project delivery.
