Senior Product Manager

YMX Logistics is redefining yard operations through technology, automation, and data-driven execution. As we build the next generation Yard Operating System (YOS), we are focused on unlocking efficiency, visibility, and scalability across complex distribution and manufacturing environments.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the vision, strategy, and execution of our next-generation Yard Operating System. This role sits at the intersection of logistics operations, software development, and emerging technologies—including automation and AI.

You will own the product roadmap and lead a team of developers using Agile and Scrum methodologies to deliver high-impact solutions that modernize yard operations. This is a highly cross-functional role requiring close collaboration with operations, engineering, customers, and executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy \& Vision

• Define and drive the product vision for YMX’s next-generation Yard Operating System
• Translate business goals, customer needs, and operational challenges into a clear product roadmap
• Identify opportunities for innovation in yard automation, orchestration, and real-time visibility

Agile Product Execution

• Own and manage the product backlog, prioritizing features based on value, impact, and feasibility
• Lead Agile/Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives)
• Partner closely with engineering to deliver high-quality releases on a consistent cadence

Team Leadership \& Collaboration

• Lead and influence a cross-functional team of software engineers, designers, and analysts
• Act as the primary liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders
• Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement

Customer \& Market Insight

• Engage directly with customers and operations teams to understand real-world yard challenges
• Incorporate user feedback into product design and iteration cycles
• Monitor industry trends in logistics tech, autonomous operations, and supply chain digitization

Delivery \& Performance

• Define success metrics and track product performance against KPIs
• Ensure scalable, reliable, and user-centric product delivery
• Drive continuous optimization based on data and operational insights

Qualifications

Required:

• 5\+ years of product management experience, ideally in logistics, supply chain, or enterprise SaaS
• Proven experience managing and delivering software products using Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Experience working closely with engineering teams and understanding of modern software development practices
• Strong ability to translate complex operational problems into technical solutions
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred:

• Experience with Yard Management Systems (YMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), or warehouse/logistics tech
• Familiarity with automation, robotics, or autonomous vehicle ecosystems
• Experience building platforms or systems integrating telematics, IoT, or real-time data
• Background in scaling products from early-stage to enterprise deployment
