Senior Product Owner

We’re looking for a seasoned Product Owner to guide product decisions and lead hands-on execution for a mature B2B platform that handles intricate operational workflows and compliance-driven calculations for enterprise customers.

You’ll collaborate closely with Engineering, QA, Customer Success, Implementation, Support, Sales, Finance, and subject-matter experts, with regular access to customers.

Worksite Location:

Hybrid; 2 days in the office, 3 remote each week (South Metro)

**Pay Range:**

  • $100 - $135K salary \+ bonus
  • No work visa sponsorship available; no C2C, thank you

**Roles \& Responsibilities**

Shape Product Direction

  • Own day-to-day product decisions for core platform functionality, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Define measurable outcomes that balance reliability, customer value, and modernization.
  • Partner with Engineering to shape the roadmap and prioritize initiatives that deliver meaningful impact.

Drive Hands-On Execution

  • Write clear epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria that enable confident development and testing.
  • Conduct discovery through interviews, workflow analysis, and validation of customer pain points.
  • Maintain a structured backlog for internal teams while continuously refining development priorities.
  • Triage production issues with cross-functional partners and prioritize fixes based on risk and customer impact.
  • Participate fully in Agile ceremonies and development cycles.

Strengthen and Evolve a Complex Platform

  • Improve reliability, performance, accuracy, and usability across intricate workflows.
  • Ensure changes are introduced safely, with careful consideration for existing customer processes.
  • Support Customer-Facing Teams
  • Collaborate with Support and Implementation to reduce friction, improve tools, and increase operational efficiency.
  • Use data and feedback loops to identify improvements that drive retention and reduce recurring issues.

Lead Integration-Focused Product Work

  • Own requirements, documentation, and outcomes for integrations with external partners.
  • Translate integration needs into clear workflows, API expectations, data mapping, and operational considerations.
  • Communicate Releases and Ensure Readiness
  • Prepare and deliver release communications that explain what changed, who it affects, and how to use it.
  • Work with Marketing on positioning while owning internal enablement and readiness.

**Required Skills \& Experience**

  • Extensive experience in product management for B2B SaaS platforms, ideally involving complex calculations, rules engines, or integrations with enterprise systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to own outcomes end-to-end-from discovery through delivery and measurement.
  • Experience working with and incrementally improving legacy systems while maintaining production stability.
  • Strong partnership with Engineering and QA, including comfort navigating edge cases, tradeoffs, and technical constraints.
  • Proven ability to define and deliver API-based integrations, including:

+ Common integration patterns (REST, webhooks, file-based exchange)

+ Data mapping, validation, error handling, and reconciliation

+ Enterprise expectations around security, reliability, versioning, and backward compatibility

  • Excellent written communication skills, including requirements, decision documentation, release notes, and stakeholder updates.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and drive alignment across technical and non-technical teams.
