About The Role
We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented SDET-1 to join our Quality Engineering
team at WeWork. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and
performance of our products through a combination of manual and automated testing.
You will work closely with Developers, Product Owners, and cross-functional teams to deliver
high-quality releases and maintain a strong quality culture across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform end-to-end manual testing to identify defects, validate features, and ensure product quality.
- Take ownership of the QA process throughout the product lifecycle.
- Collaborate with Developers and Product Owners to understand requirements and define test strategies.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API testing.
- Ensure smooth and timely product releases with minimal defects.
- Participate in test planning, test case creation, and execution.
- Identify areas for test automation and process improvement.
- Actively contribute to maintaining and enhancing the test automation framework.
Required Skills \&Qualifications
- Strong understanding of manual testing fundamentals, including test case design, bug identification, and reporting.
- Hands-on experience in test automation.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java preferred).
- Familiarity with automation tools and frameworks such as: Selenium/ Maven /TestNG/Page Object Model (POM) /Playwright /Load Testing (n8n, Jmeter)
Good Knowledge Of
○ Web application testing
○ Mobile application testing
○ API testing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Advantages
- Experience with AI-powered automation tools such as: TestSigma Cursor
- Understanding of AI concepts in test automation and exposure to Model Context Protocols (MCPs) or similar technologies.
- Experience working in Sprints environments.
