6-month Contract-to-Hire

Location:

Remote (EST/CST preferred)

Pay:

$65-70/hr (

compensation can vary depending on experience)

Most Important Responsibilities:

Analyze business and technical requirements to develop detailed system specifications and designs.
Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL Server solutions, including stored procedures, queries, and automation processes.
Build and support data integrations, ETL processes, and scheduled jobs.
Develop, maintain, and optimize reporting solutions using SSRS or similar tools.
Perform unit testing, support system testing, and participate in implementation activities.
Provide production support, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and participation in on-call rotations.
Monitor and optimize database performance through indexing strategies, execution plan analysis, and query tuning.
Maintain database security configurations including roles, permissions, and access controls.
Create and maintain clear technical documentation.
Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and automation capabilities.

What you can bring to the table to impact this role, team, and organization:

5\+ years of SQL development and database-centric application support.
Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, including:
Stored procedures, T-SQL, and complex query development
SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
SQL Server Agent job creation and management
Experience with financial reconciliation platforms (Accurate)
Strong background in database performance tuning, indexing, and execution plan analysis.
Experience in SSRS or similar reporting tools.
Experience with financial ERP systems.
PeopleSoft Financials or similar enterprise systems.
Experience with additional programming or scripting languages such as .NET, Java, Python, or PowerShell.
Insurance or financial services background preferred.
