About the Role

: The Logistics Manager is responsible for end-to-end logistics operations in France, including customs clearance, warehousing, and transportation. The role covers both B2B fulfillment and B2C last-mile delivery, with a strong focus on operational efficiency, cost optimization, and supply chain digitalization.

Responsibilities

:

  • Customs Clearance \& Compliance
  • Manage import/export customs clearance in compliance with French and EU regulations;
  • Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and government authorities;
  • Monitor clearance performance and resolve customs issues to minimize delays;
  • Ensure proper documentation and regulatory compliance.
  • Transportation \& Distribution
  • Plan and manage domestic transportation and last-mile delivery (B2B \& B2C);
  • Optimize delivery routes, carrier allocation, and transport costs;
  • Monitor delivery performance (OTD, SLA, POD accuracy);
  • Ensure safe, compliant, and timely delivery operations.
  • Warehousing \& Inventory Management
  • Manage warehouse operations: inbound, storage, picking, packing, outbound, returns, claims;
  • Manage inventory control, stock accuracy, and cycle/full counting;
  • Optimize WMS processes, warehouse efficiency and warehousing costs;
  • Ensure inventory availability and turnover targets.
  • 3PL / Supplier Management
  • Manage third-party logistics providers (3PL) across warehousing, transportation, and customs clearance;
  • Define and track KPIs (cost, service level, lead time);
  • Conduct supplier performance reviews and continuous improvement initiatives;
  • Support procurement in supplier selection and cost negotiation.
  • Data Analysis \& Process Optimization
  • Analyze logistics KPIs: cost per order, lead time, fulfillment rate, customer satisfaction;
  • Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements;
  • Drive digitalization initiatives (WMS/TMS/BI tools);
  • Ensure data accuracy, reporting consistency, and operational transparency.

Qualifications

:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade, or related field;
  • Minimum 3\+ years of experience in logistics / supply chain operations;
  • Hands-on experience in warehouse management (mandatory, 2 years of experience minimum);
  • Strong knowledge of customs clearance, transportation, and warehousing management;
  • Experience in both B2B and B2C logistics operations;
  • Experience managing 3PL providers;
  • Strong skills in cost control, negotiation, and process optimization;
  • Proficiency in WMS, TMS, and data analysis tools (Excel, BI);
  • Fluent in Chinese and French; English as a working language;
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and team management skills.

Preferred Skills

:

  • Possess a valid drive license;
  • Experience in multinational companies or international logistics environments;
  • Knowledge of European logistics regulations and last-mile delivery models;
  • Experience in cross-border e-commerce, retail, or manufacturing;
  • Certifications: APICS CSCP / CLTD, PMP.
