Role Description

This is a full-time, remote role for an experienced Human Resources Manager. The HR Manager will oversee all aspects of human resource practices and processes, including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and performance management. The HR manager will report directly to the COO \& CEO.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Recruitment \& Hiring

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies.
  • Manage the full hiring process, from job postings to onboarding.
  • Conduct interviews and assessments to identify top talent.

2) Employee Relations:

  • Foster a positive work environment through open communication.
  • Address employee concerns and mediate conflicts as needed.
  • Implement engagement initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction.
  • Develop programs for training, development, and employee engagement.

3) Performance Management:

  • Oversee performance evaluation processes.
  • Work with management to develop employee development plans.

4) Termination Processes:

  • Handle all termination procedures with sensitivity and compliance.
  • Conduct exit interviews to gather insights for improvement.

5) Policy Development:

  • Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.

Qualifications

  • Ability to manage sensitive situations with discretion.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment, onboarding, and talent acquisition practices
  • Proficiency in employee relations, conflict resolution, and promoting a positive work environment
  • Experience with compliance, labor laws, and development and enforcement of HR policies
  • Ability to build and implement performance management systems and employee development initiatives
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills
  • Proficiency with HR software systems and basic office tools
  • Experience in the beauty, retail, or consumer goods industry is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (HR certification preferred)
