Job Description
This role supports activities related to the chemical and material characterization of materials and devices for internal projects. This position involves executing diverse analytical chemistry-focused activities aimed at providing solutions for operations, manufacturing, research and development, and new product development within various business units across the company.
Responsibilities
- Execute studies in accordance with test plans and protocols.
- Document all work and maintain best documentation practices.
- Compile data and contribute to reports or generate reports as assigned or prescribed by test plans and internal SOPs.
- Operate and maintain related equipment and instrumentation relevant to the role.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laboratory and facility procedures, including test plans, SOPs, and Work Instructions.
- Keep training to SOPs, Work Instructions, and company policies current.
- Communicate effectively with personnel across the department.
- Seek to continuously improve processes and procedures.
- Commit to customer service and regulatory compliance.
- Understand and adhere to department and facility best practices and organizational standards for regulatory compliance, such as Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
- Conduct exploratory research to produce new knowledge and potential products.
- Develop research proposals to provide a technically and economically sound basis for developing and evaluating new or improved products, synthetic methods, processes, and analytical testing techniques.
- Recommend utilization of results or suggest changes in the scope of work or termination of projects.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fridley, MN.
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28\.00 - $29\.00/hr.
