Chamberlain Advisors is conducting an executive search for Certum Legal Solutions (CLS), a technology-forward legal services platform building a national, vertically integrated personal injury and mass tort enterprise. CLS brings insurance, litigation funding, and legal-service solutions together under a single platform, a combination no other organization in the market offers, and acquires and integrates leading plaintiff law firms across the United States. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Marketing \& Intake Officer will own marketing and intake end to end, sitting atop both lead generation and conversion so that one executive is accountable for the cost and quality of every acquired case. This is a greenfield build. The incoming officer will stand up the marketing engine and the intake function on the platform's Salesforce-centric foundation, deploy capital across the full channel spectrum, and scale the function across a rapidly growing multi-brand portfolio.
Core Profile: alignment with the following is required to get you in the conversation
- Strategic Ownership of Marketing \& Intake / Executive Partnership: This seat owns the platform's marketing and intake function end to end, sitting atop both lead generation and conversion so that one executive is accountable for turning marketing spend into signed, retained cases at a defensible cost. Partnering directly with the Chief Executive Officer and the COO/CTO, you will own the function's P\&L and set acquisition strategy across a growing multi-brand portfolio, defending every channel and spend decision with data. This is an executive ownership role rather than a campaign-management seat.
- Hands-On Greenfield Builder: The marketing organization is a ground-up build. You will stand it up from scratch, hiring the operators who bid and reallocate capital daily and launching a live, measurable campaign within roughly the first sixty days. You will recruit and develop a Director of Marketing beneath you and, partnering with the intake leadership already in place, build toward a 24/7 multi-channel contact center over roughly twelve months. A bias to action is essential: an eighty-percent-good solution now beats a perfect one in six months, and you will be comfortable building while the platform scales.
- Technology, AI \& Salesforce Ownership: Technology is core to the work, designed alongside every workflow rather than treated as an afterthought. You will partner closely with the COO/CTO on a Salesforce-centric marketing and intake stack, operating as a power user who builds your own reports and dashboards and owns the function's outputs end to end. You will stand up marketing integrations from zero, then harden them with redundancy and checkpoints, and you will identify where conversational AI, voice agents, and automation lift performance and where a human must remain in the loop for legal disclaimers and distressed callers.
- Multi-Channel Capital Deployment \& Integration: Capital deployment spans the full channel spectrum: paid digital and search, social, performance affiliate and lead-aggregator networks, and mass media including television, radio, and out-of-home, with the blend calibrated tort by tort and market by market. You will direct agency and aggregator partners, decide what to centralize versus leave at the operating company, and progressively shift the mix toward owned, in-house demand while protecting existing pipelines. As firms join the platform on a thirty, sixty, and ninety-day integration arc, you will assess each brand's market opportunity and build its growth plan.
- Mission-Aligned Cultural Fit: Cultural fit is non-negotiable. You will share the platform's mission of helping injured and wronged people secure the compensation they deserve, and you will operate within the ego-checked, accountability-first culture the organization is built on: humility with confidence, problems surfaced early, and respect for every colleague from frontline intake staff to founder-attorneys. You will lead acquired-firm change through influence rather than authority, treating founders as partners who carry real stakes rather than as subordinates. Operators who require a perfectly structured process before acting, who police what work is beneath them, or who lead with politics, self-promotion, or brute force will not succeed in this role.
Core Responsibilities \& Scope Of Work
Marketing Strategy \& Multi-Channel Capital Deployment
- Channel Strategy \& Spend: Set channel strategy tort by tort and market by market across paid digital, search, social, performance affiliate and aggregator networks, and mass media including television, radio, and out-of-home, with the authority to allocate and reallocate spend against performance data.
- Capital Deployment at Scale: Hire and lead the team that bids and reallocates capital daily, holding those operators accountable to clear KPIs as deployment scales toward the platform's nine-figure annual marketing investment.
- Agency \& Aggregator Management: Direct agency partners and lead-aggregator relationships, deciding what to centralize versus leave at the operating company and progressively reducing third-party lead dependency over time.
- Regulated, Multistate Complexity: Navigate the rules of professional conduct across simultaneous states, building one approach that works broadly while accounting for the jurisdictional differences that are not easily deduced or taught.
Intake \& Conversion Operations
- Lead-to-Retainer Conversion: Sit atop intake as well as marketing, owning the qualification of raw leads and their conversion to signed, retained cases, with quality control before handoff to operations.
- Contact-Center Buildout: Partner with intake leadership to build toward a 24/7 multi-channel contact center across phone, web, chat, and SMS within roughly twelve months, sized to flex up and down on demand, with retainers sent by DocuSign and SMS.
- Conversion KPIs: Own answer rate at ninety percent or better, speed-to-lead, scripting, and lead-to-retained conversion, setting the quality standards that serve claimants making a high-stakes decision under stress.
- Build for Volume: Instrument every stage of the funnel and build the function toward maturity volume of roughly a thousand leads a day signing fifty to sixty cases a day.
Performance Analytics \& Unit Economics
- Cost Per Acquired Case: Own cost per acquired and retained case as the north-star metric, supported by cost-per-lead and the full leads-to-solid-leads-to-signed-cases funnel.
- Willingness-to-Pay by Case Type: Calibrate acceptable acquisition cost against case value, from a routine motor-vehicle matter to a catastrophic one, and track whether a case is paid, how fast, and for how much.
- Attribution \& Reporting: Build the attribution frameworks, dashboards, and board-grade reporting that make performance visible across a multi-brand portfolio, capturing metadata down to device, browser, time of day, and ad engagement so that spend follows signal.
- Defend Every Dollar: Defend channel and process decisions with data rather than anecdote, framing investment in case economics for the executive team and investors.
Technology, AI \& Salesforce Enablement
- Salesforce Power User: Own the function's outputs on a Salesforce-centric stack end to end, building your own reports and dashboards and understanding the architecture even where you do not personally configure it.
- Resilient Integrations: Stand up marketing integrations from zero, then harden them with redundancy and checkpoints so that failures are detected rather than silently spinning, and keep the claimant intake experience fast and low-friction.
- Production AI: Partner with the COO/CTO to put generative and agentic AI into production, including voice agents that make and answer calls and automated record pulls, keeping a human in the loop for disclaimers, case-type triage, and distressed callers.
- Workflow-First Thinking: Design the technology solution alongside every workflow, ensuring tools map directly to business logic and eliminate manual workarounds.
Leadership, Integration \& Culture
- Build the Team: Recruit and develop the marketing and intake organization, growing it to fifty or more people over time, and hold the operators who deploy capital accountable to one consistent set of metrics and standards.
- Per-Firm Integration: As firms join the platform on a thirty, sixty, and ninety-day arc, assess each brand's total addressable market and market-share opportunity, build its brand-specific growth plan, and absorb its marketing and intake.
- Founder-Attorney Partnership: Lead change through influence, treating founder-attorneys as partners who carry real stakes; capture quick wins early and address structural change only after trust has been earned.
- Accountability \& Candor: Surface problems early, own mistakes without deflection, and communicate status before the date arrives, because the passage of time is never the first signal that something has slipped.
Qualifications
- Typically 10 or more years of marketing leadership experience in high-volume, consumer-facing environments, with progressive increases in scope and organizational influence; senior P\&L ownership required.
- Deep command of high-volume consumer marketing across paid digital, search, social, performance affiliate and aggregator networks, and mass media including television, radio, and out-of-home.
- Personal-injury or legal marketing experience strongly preferred; closely adjacent regulated, multistate direct-to-consumer verticals such as debt consolidation and settlement, revenue-cycle management, mortgage, or RIA and wealth marketing considered where funnel, multistate complexity, and acquisition-cost discipline transfer cleanly.
- Working command of high-volume intake and contact-center operations, enough to lead a conversion function to a high standard without being its deepest specialist.
- Demonstrated fluency in consumer-acquisition economics: cost per acquired case, cost-per-lead, lead-funnel analysis from leads to solid leads to signed cases, and marketing attribution.
- Experience marketing regulated, multistate professional services, with command of the jurisdictional differences that vary state by state.
- Current, working understanding of generative-engine optimization and AI-driven discovery, not legacy long-form search optimization.
- Salesforce power user strongly preferred, able to build reports and dashboards and understand the architecture, and comfortable designing the technology solution alongside the workflow.
- Hands-on experience with generative and agentic AI in production, with the orientation to experiment with and adopt new technology.
- Track record of building a function from the ground up and standing up live campaigns quickly within a high-growth, resource-building environment.
- Experience in private-equity-backed or acquisitive multi-brand environments preferred, including presenting performance to executive and investor stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to lead acquired-firm or multi-stakeholder change through influence and data rather than organizational authority.
- Remote within the United States with travel as needed; Dallas / DFW area preferred.
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred but not required.
About Our Client
Certum Legal Solutions is building a first-of-its-kind, technology-forward legal services platform that brings insurance, litigation funding, and legal-service solutions together under a single roof, a holistic capability no competitor offers. Through its affiliated trial firm, the platform acquires leading plaintiff law firms and empowers their founders with capital, technology, and operational scale, helping injured and wronged people across the country secure the compensation they deserve. Unlike consolidators that simply stitch together earnings, Certum is built by trial lawyers, for trial lawyers, with technology and operational excellence at its core.
Backed by experienced principals and operating in a highly fragmented, multi-billion-dollar industry, the platform is in the earliest and most consequential chapter of its growth, with acquisitions actively underway. The Chief Marketing \& Intake Officer is among the most significant leadership hires the organization will make, the executive who sits at the tip of the spear of case acquisition. For the right candidate, the role offers the opportunity to build the platform's marketing and intake engine from the ground up and to shape the performance of an organization positioned to become a national leader in its market.
