Job Description
Chief Operating Officer (COO) \& Integrator — Fully Remote
Looking for a committed COO for an established digital marketing agency who understands that it is necessary to commit 50-60 hours per week to the operations of the organization. Our client does B2C \& B2B marketing that focuses on all things digital with less emphasis on branding. You’ll need to work West Coast hours.
- Lead day-to-day operations across a digitally driven marketing environment, including SEO, local SEO, paid search, paid social, programmatic, branding, creative, client services, and back-office functions.
- Serve as the operational partner to the CEO, turning vision into clear priorities, measurable KPIs, and disciplined execution.
- Build and run a scalable operating cadence, including leadership meetings, scorecards, quarterly planning, annual planning, and issue resolution.
- Create, refine, and document core business processes from sales handoff through delivery and reporting to improve quality, efficiency, and margin.
- Lead and develop managers and cross-functional leaders, ensuring accountability, alignment, and high performance across the organization.
- Own key operational metrics such as utilization, delivery margin, project and retainer profitability, on-time delivery, scope management, and client retention.
- Partner on budgeting, forecasting, dashboards, and performance tracking to support revenue growth and profitability goals.
- Help prepare the business for scale through stronger reporting, cleaner processes, improved org design, and operational rigor.
- Bring 7\+ years of leadership experience in a digital marketing, integrated marketing, or performance marketing environment.
- Demonstrate success in an operations leadership role such as COO, Integrator, Head of Operations, or General Manager within a founder-led or entrepreneurial company.
- Offer deep, hands-on understanding of digital channels including SEO, local SEO, paid search, paid social, programmatic, branding, and creative, and how they work together in integrated campaigns.
- Have experience implementing or operating within EOS, Scaling Up, or a similar entrepreneurial operating framework.
- Be a systems-minded, data-driven leader who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
- Thrive in fast-moving environments and bring structure, clarity, and accountability to growing organizations.
