Job Description
Our client -
UAB Nord energija
develops advanced control and energy management solutions for complex energy infrastructure. The product is already on the market and generating revenue - now the company is entering a deliberate scaling phase: architectural maturity, platform adaptability, and broader deployment across customer segments.
Why join
Real ownership:
Direct influence on product strategy, architecture, and business direction at executive level. You will participate in all key investment, product, and growth decisions.
Meaningful product:
Energy sector technology with tangible real-world impact. The EMS is already deployed and solving real infrastructure challenges.
Competitive package:
7,000 – 10,000 gross/month depending on experience \+ performance-based incentives.
What you will own
- Architecture \& technical direction.
Full ownership of the technology architecture across hardware, firmware, software, and external interfaces - defining principles, standards, and long-term roadmap.
- Platform scalability.
Drive architectural improvements to evolve the existing market-ready product into a scalable, adaptable platform capable of serving diverse customer types and deployment models.
- Engineering leadership.
Lead internal development teams and coordinate external technical partners and vendors; build engineering culture, processes, and governance.
- Cross-layer integration.
Ensure effective integration across hardware, firmware, software, and external interfaces; evaluate technical risks and make high-impact architectural decisions.
- Executive contribution.
Participate in executive decision-making on product strategy, technology investments, and business growth - bridging engineering reality with commercial ambition.
What we are looking for
Required:
- Proven track record in senior technology leadership (VP Engineering, CTO, or equivalent) within a complex, hardware\+software product company - ideally at or beyond the scale stage.
- Hands-on experience with hardware–software integration: embedded systems, firmware, and cross-layer architecture. You understand what you are deciding, not just managing it.
- Demonstrated ability to take a functioning product and evolve it into a scalable, maintainable platform - without breaking what works.
- Experience in demanding B2B environments: long sales cycles, enterprise integration requirements, high reliability expectations.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management: ability to operate at C-level while staying close enough to engineering to make credible technical decisions.
- Professional fluency in English.
Strong advantage
- Background in the energy sector, industrial automation, or critical infrastructure technology.
- Experience with control systems, SCADA, IoT infrastructure, or real-time data platforms.
