Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

Role Responsibilities:

• Define and execute the technology vision and roadmap, aligned with product and business goals
• Architect and oversee the development of scalable, secure, and reliable systems
• Lead the hiring and development of an in-house engineering team; identify and phase out reliance on contractors
• Foster a high-ownership, collaborative, and execution-oriented engineering culture
• Partner closely with product and design to deliver innovative, customer-focused solutions
• Ensure technical excellence through strong code review, documentation, and operational best practices
• Provide hands-on technical leadership where needed - able to roll up your sleeves to unblock progress
• Build processes and systems that can scale with growth while maintaining agility

Requirements:

• Proven track record as a senior engineering leader in high-growth, startup environments
• Strong technical background with the ability to dive deep into architecture, infrastructure, and ML-driven products
• Experience building and scaling high-performing engineering teams from early stages
• Passion for creating a healthy engineering culture focused on quality, speed, and impact
• Comfortable balancing long-term vision with short-term execution under startup constraints
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills; able to align technical and business stakeholders
