Chief Technology Officer

Job Purpose

We are seeking a visionary and business-oriented executive leader to drive enterprise-wide digital, data, AI, and media technology transformation across the organization.

This role requires a proven executive capable of leading large-scale organizational transformation, modernizing media and digital ecosystems, establishing forward-looking technology operating models, and enabling measurable business impact through innovation, data, AI, and integrated digital platforms.

The CTO will act as a strategic partner to executive leadership, driving transformation initiatives that enhance operational excellence, audience engagement, digital maturity, and long-term organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Leadership \& Transformation

• Lead enterprise-wide digital and business transformation initiatives
• Establish and operationalize modern digital, data, AI, and media technology operating models
• Drive organizational change management and transformation execution at executive level
• Partner with executive leadership to modernize operational capabilities and service delivery
• Lead strategic technology decision-making and enterprise transformation prioritization
• Ensure alignment between technology investments and organizational objectives

Media \& Communication Technology Transformation

• Lead modernization of media, communication, publishing, and content technology ecosystems
• Drive transformation of digital content operations, newsroom workflows, broadcasting platforms, and audience engagement capabilities
• Oversee integration of media technologies, publishing platforms, digital asset management systems, and content distribution ecosystems
• Enable data-driven audience intelligence, personalization, and digital engagement strategies
• Lead adoption of AI, automation, and emerging technologies across media and communication operations
• Ensure scalability, resilience, and operational excellence across digital media platforms and communication technologies

Strategy, Data \& AI Leadership

• Define and execute enterprise digital, data, AI, and technology strategy
• Lead enterprise analytics, AI enablement, automation, and intelligent decision-making initiatives
• Establish organization-wide data and AI governance frameworks
• Oversee enterprise architecture alignment and technology integration initiatives
• Drive innovation, digital maturity, and future-ready organizational capabilities
• Translate business strategy into measurable transformation roadmaps and outcomes

Governance, Risk \& Performance

• Establish enterprise governance frameworks across digital, data, AI, and technology domains
• Ensure executive oversight, accountability, and value realization across transformation programs
• Lead KPI tracking, transformation performance management, and operational efficiency initiatives
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, data privacy, and regulatory requirements
• Provide executive-level reporting on transformation progress, risks, and strategic outcomes

Executive Stakeholder Management

• Act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on transformation, technology, AI, and governance matters
• Lead engagement with strategic partners, regulators, and technology providers
• Represent the organization in relevant technology, digital transformation, and media forums
• Influence enterprise-wide adoption of a digital-first and innovation-driven culture

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, Business Administration, or related field
• Master’s degree preferred (MBA, Technology Management, Digital Transformation, or equivalent)

Experience

• 15\+ years of progressive leadership experience across digital transformation, enterprise technology, media technology, data, and AI
• Proven experience in executive technology leadership roles such as CIO, CDDAIO, CTO, or equivalent enterprise mandate
• Demonstrated experience leading enterprise-wide business and digital transformation initiatives
• Strong experience within media, broadcasting, digital publishing, communication, or content-driven environments
• Proven experience modernizing media technology ecosystems, digital platforms, content operations, or audience engagement capabilities
• Proven executive stakeholder management experience within highly complex organizations
• Strong experience leading large-scale organizational change, governance, and operating model transformation
• Experience within government, regulated sectors, media organizations, or large enterprises preferred
