Chief Technology Officer

We're partnering with a well-established, privately owned UK business that is entering an exciting new phase of growth. With multiple offices nationwide, a strong market presence and ambitious expansion plans, technology is becoming central to the company's future strategy.

We're looking for an experienced

Fractional CTO OR Technology \& AI Adviser

to work closely with the Managing Director and senior leadership team, helping to define and execute a technology strategy that creates genuine commercial advantage.

This isn't an IT support role.

This is a strategic advisory position for someone who can influence business decisions, identify opportunities for innovation, and lead technology transformation across the organisation.

You'll act as a trusted partner to the leadership team, helping shape how technology, AI and automation drive future growth.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing a long-term technology roadmap aligned with business objectives.
• Advising senior leadership on technology investment, innovation and digital transformation.
• Identifying AI and automation opportunities to improve productivity and operational efficiency.
• Leading transformation projects including CRM enhancements, workflow automation, reporting, business intelligence and bespoke software.
• Managing relationships with software vendors, developers and external technology partners.
• Overseeing project delivery to ensure solutions are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard.
• Supporting future acquisitions through technology due diligence and integration planning.
• Helping build a culture of innovation across the business.

You'll bring:

• A commercially focused approach to technology.
• Proven experience developing and delivering technology strategies.
• Strong knowledge of AI, automation and digital transformation.
• Experience managing software development projects and third-party technology suppliers.
• The ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and translate business objectives into practical technology solutions.

Experience within recruitment, staffing or professional services would be advantageous but isn't essential.
