What You'll Do:

Technology leadership today extends beyond systems—it is about shaping business outcomes, influencing strategic decisions, and earning trust at the executive level.

As the

Field CTO for Cloud, Infrastructure \& Security (CIS)

, you will serve as Persistent’s senior-most technology leader in the field, partnering directly with CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, and senior business stakeholders across large enterprises.

You will act as the

bridge between business ambition and technical execution

, helping clients navigate cloud transformation, infrastructure modernization, AI adoption, cybersecurity, and large-scale digital initiatives.

This is a

high-impact, client-facing role

that combines strategic vision with hands-on technical leadership across executive advisory, solution architecture, and complex deal pursuits.

Expertise You'll Bring:

Core Responsibilities

1\. Executive Client Engagement \& Advisory

• Engage with CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, and CXO stakeholders as a trusted technology advisor
• Lead strategic discussions focused on business outcomes, value realization, and risk mitigation
• Provide thought leadership and challenge client perspectives to guide critical decision-making
• Present complex technical concepts through clear, executive-level storytelling

2\. Technical Leadership \& Architecture Expertise

• Provide deep technical credibility across:
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Enterprise infrastructure \& networking
• Cybersecurity and enterprise platforms
• AI and emerging technologies
• Lead architecture discussions, co-create solutions, and whiteboard with senior stakeholders
• Drive complex architectural decisions balancing innovation, scalability, and risk

3\. Business, Sales \& Engineering Alignment

• Translate business challenges into actionable technology strategies
• Act as a connector across sales, presales, architecture, delivery, and partner ecosystem
• Influence commercial strategy by aligning architecture with deal structures
• Ensure strong integration between go-to-market (GTM) strategy and delivery execution

4\. Pre-Sales, Solutioning \& GTM Leadership

• Shape differentiated solutions, offerings, and reference architectures
• Play a key role in large, strategic deal pursuits and transformation programs
• Strengthen technical narratives to improve win rates and client confidence
• Contribute to market positioning and GTM strategy with a strong technology perspective

5\. Industry Expertise \& Contextual Awareness

• Develop strong understanding of industry-specific challenges and regulatory landscapes
• Experience across sectors such as BFSI, Healthcare \& Life Sciences, and other regulated industries
• Navigate legacy systems, organizational dynamics, and change management complexities
• Tailor solutions to client maturity, constraints, and business priorities

6\. Visionary \& Pragmatic Technology Leadership

• Balance forward-looking innovation with practical, real-world execution
• Clearly differentiate between emerging technologies and immediately deployable solutions
• Integrate cloud, AI, data, security, and transformation into a cohesive technology vision
• Contribute to thought leadership through whitepapers, POVs, and industry forums

Qualifications \& Experience

• 15\+ years of experience in technology leadership, architecture, consulting, or engineering roles
• Strong hands-on expertise in cloud platforms and enterprise infrastructure
• Proven experience engaging with senior executives (CIO, CTO, CISO, CXO level)
• Demonstrated success in:
• Pre-sales, solutioning, and large-scale transformation deals
• Architecture leadership and complex technical decision-making
• Bridging business strategy with engineering execution
• Exposure to AI and emerging technologies through hands-on experience or certifications
• Experience working across multiple industries and enterprise-scale environments
• Comfortable operating in high-stakes, ambiguous, and client-facing scenarios
