Chief Technology Officer

For a fast-growing technology company in Amsterdam, we are looking for a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) with a strong background in cloud-native software development, scalable platform architecture and engineering leadership.

The organization develops advanced software platforms used by international clients in operationally critical environments. The CTO will play a key role in shaping the technical vision, engineering culture and scalability of the company’s products and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the technology strategy and software architecture

• Lead and grow engineering teams

• Build scalable and reliable cloud-native systems

• Improve engineering processes, delivery and technical quality

• Translate business needs into sustainable technical solutions

• Drive innovation, scalability and operational continuity

Requirements

• 10\+ years experience within software engineering and architecture

• Strong experience with AWS and cloud-native environments

• Experience leading engineering teams and technical strategy

• Strong architectural mindset focused on scalability and reliability

• Technical background in TypeScript and/or Python

• Experience within fast-moving product environments
