POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Chief Technology Officer will lead the engineering organization and oversee technical strategy, platform stability, and product execution during a period of rapid growth and expansion. This role is highly hands-on and requires a technical leader who can contribute to architecture, guide development teams, and help scale systems used by customers in production. The CTO will partner closely with executive leadership to support innovation while strengthening reliability, performance, and long-term platform scalability.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the engineering organization, providing technical direction, mentorship, and support to engineering and product teams
- Guide architecture, scalability, and platform reliability across cloud-based and AI-enabled systems
- The ideal candidate is a hands-on, player-coach style leader who remains close to the code, supports the team in complex technical decisions, and actively contributes to architecture, problem-solving, and execution.
- Partner with executive leadership to align technology strategy with business goals and product roadmap
- This role requires comfort operating in a high-performance, fast-paced startup environment where innovation is constant, expectations are high, and leaders are expected to drive execution while scaling the organization.
- Help strengthen development processes to improve system stability, quality, and performance while maintaining innovation
- Support team growth, hiring, and leadership development across a distributed engineering organization
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 10\+ years of software engineering experience with at least 5\+ years in technical leadership roles
- Strong hands-on experience with Python, Django, and modern cloud-based architectures
- Proven background leading engineering teams building SaaS, AI, or data-driven platforms
- Demonstrated success leading platform architecture and scaling engineering organizations in high-growth SaaS or technology companies, while maintaining execution speed, system stability and high code quality.
- Extensive experience with AI, large language models (LLMs), machine learning, or modern automation technologies - strongly preferred.
- Experience in SaaS, marketing technology, SEO, or digital platform products preferred, with the ability to understand search-driven applications, customer use cases, and related data workflows.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
This position offers a competitive executive-level compensation package with a target range of approximately
$300,000–$500,000 (DOE)
