Chief Technology Officer – VCS HR

VCS HR delivers workforce management and employee solutions that help organizations – from public safety to enterprise operations – run smarter, faster, and better. We’re seeking a visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technology strategy, drive product innovation, and ensure our platforms remain the gold standard in HR tech.

Position Summary:

The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will be responsible for setting the company’s technology vision, leading innovation, and ensuring the scalability, security, and performance of all VCS software products and platforms. This strategic leader will collaborate closely with HR, operations, sales, and product teams to align technology initiatives with business goals, enhance customer experience, and drive sustainable growth.

What will you do:

  • Develop and execute VCS’s long term technology strategy in alignment with company vision and market trends
  • Partner with the executive leadership team to identify opportunities for technology-driven business transformation.
  • Ensure technology roadmaps are in place for production innovation, infrastructure modernization, and AI/automation integration.
  • Oversee the design, development, and delivery of workforce management and scheduling software solutions.
  • Champion user-centric design, accessibility and continuous production improvement.
  • Implement agile development processes and foster a culture of innovation.
  • Mentor a high-performing tech team and foster a culture of agility and innovation.

What we are looking for:

  • Senior tech leadership experience (CTO, VP Engineering, or similar) in Saas or enterprise software.
  • Expertise in cloud platforms software architecture, and agile development.
  • Background in HR tech, workforce management, or scheduling systems is a plus.
  • Proven ability to scale products, lead teams, and deliver measurable results.
