Salary:

€130,000 - €150,000 Basic Salary

This isn't a maintenance CTO role.

It isn't about inheriting a large engineering department or simply keeping the lights on.

This is an opportunity to join a privately owned software company at one of the most exciting points in its journey.

Following continued investment in both its people and technology, the business is preparing to launch a genuinely AI-native product suite designed from the ground up with artificial intelligence at its core.

Having already partnered with the business on a number of successful hires, we have seen first-hand the calibre of the leadership team and the ambition behind the product roadmap.

The foundations have been built.

The engineering team is in place.

Now the business is looking for the individual who can take it to the next level.

The Opportunity

As CTO, you'll become the technical leader of the organisation, helping define not only

how

the business builds software, but

how

AI becomes embedded into every aspect of engineering and product delivery.

You'll work directly alongside the founders, influencing strategic decisions while remaining close enough to technology to guide architecture, engineering standards and technical direction.

You'll inherit a talented, agile development team and have the opportunity to grow the function as the company scales internationally.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building rather than maintaining.

Someone who thrives in ambiguity.

Someone who sees AI as more than a feature and understands how it can fundamentally transform both products and engineering teams.

The Technology

You'll need the credibility to lead technical discussions across a modern cloud-native stack including:

Backend

• TypeScript
• Node.js 22
• NestJS 11

Frontend

• Angular (TypeScript)

Cloud \& Infrastructure

• Microsoft Azure
• Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• Containerised microservices
• CI/CD pipelines

More importantly than any individual framework, we're looking for someone who understands how to build scalable engineering organisations capable of delivering exceptional software.
