Job Description
Carson Tahoe is seeking a dynamic Clinic Manager to lead operations for Carson Tahoe Medical Group across four specialty clinics: Psychiatry, Outpatient Therapy, Community Outreach, and Neurology. This role is responsible for the day-to-day management of operations, including staffing, budgeting, compliance, and quality performance.
The Clinic Manager partners closely with providers and staff to enhance patient experience, optimize workflow efficiency, and ensure high-quality care delivery. This leader will also drive the development and implementation of practice-specific policies and procedures while fostering a collaborative, patient-centered environment that supports both clinical excellence and team engagement.
Essential Functions
- Oversees daily operations for clinical and non-clinical functions, including staffing, scheduling, and workflow adjustments based on patient volume.
- Manages all HR-related functions such as hiring, onboarding, training, performance evaluations, and timecard approval.
- Develops, monitors, and manages operating, personnel, and capital budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
- Partners with physician and organizational leadership to establish and implement practice goals, improve operations, and enhance patient satisfaction.
- Analyzes performance data, identifies improvement opportunities, and leads process changes to meet operational and organizational goals.
- Ensures regulatory compliance and administrative oversight, including provider credentialing, CME tracking, CLIA requirements, and multi-site or multi-provider management.
Qualifications
- Two years of supervisory experience in healthcare
- Proficiency with EMR systems and software applications
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers
Employees with Active Unrestricted Nevada Nursing License (certification requirement):
- American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) for healthcare providers
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare provider
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Management or Business Administration or related field
- Experience in more than one practice specialty
- Knowledge of medical professional billing and coding
