Clinical Scientist
role within a lean, agile organisation, offering meaningful ownership across clinical development and the opportunity to influence programme strategy. Depending on experience, this position could be scoped at
Senior Clinical Scientist or Director level
.
While Dallas, Texas based candidates are preferred,
remote working is fully supported
for the right profile.

The Role
You will provide scientific leadership across neuromuscular clinical development programmes, working hands‑on with internal and external stakeholders to drive high‑quality trial execution. Responsibilities include:
- Scientific leadership across neuromuscular clinical studies, from design through execution and data interpretation
- Authoring and reviewing key clinical documents including protocols, Investigator’s Brochures, CSRs, and regulatory responses
- Close collaboration with Clinical Operations, Regulatory, Biometrics, Translational, and external partners
- Hands‑on involvement in protocol development, study amendments, and clinical strategy
- Supporting medical monitoring activities, safety review, and data review processes
- Acting as a key scientific interface with CROs, investigators, and clinical sites to ensure trial quality and alignment
Expertise We’re Looking For
- MD or PhD
required
- Proven experience as a
Clinical Scientist within a small or mid‑size biotech environment
- Depth of disease‑area expertise in
neuromuscular disorders
, with strongest preference for:
- Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD)
- Facioscapulohumeral Muscular Dystrophy (FSHD)
- Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA)
- Broader muscular disorders
- Additional experience in
ALS or Myasthenia Gravis
is highly desirable
- Hands‑on experience working clinically on trials, collaborating directly with clinical operations and regulatory teams
- Exceptional scientific writing skills and
very high attention to detail
- Comfortable operating autonomously in a fast‑moving, resource‑lean biotech setting
