Changeis, Inc. is seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer 2

to support enterprise IT shared services operations within a

cabinet-level federal agency environment

. This role blends software development lifecycle expertise with cloud infrastructure engineering in a DevSecOps model.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (AWS preferred)
• Operate within a DevSecOps framework aligned with federal security requirements
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
• Implement automated infrastructure capabilities including backups, monitoring, and security tooling
• Utilize configuration and deployment tools (Jenkins, Maven, Puppet, Ansible)
• Manage version control workflows (Git, Bitbucket, SVN, or similar)
• Collaborate across development and operations teams to streamline delivery

Required Qualifications

• 10\+ years of IT experience (application development background preferred)
• 6\+ years in DevOps/SDLC environments
• Strong understanding of CI/CD, automation, and DevSecOps principles
• Hands-on AWS experience and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK)
• Experience with deployment/configuration tools (Jenkins, Maven, Puppet, Ansible)
• Experience with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket, SVN)
• Knowledge of networking, databases, and cloud architecture
• Ability to obtain and maintain a federal public trust clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• AWS DevOps Engineer Professional or Solutions Architect Professional certification
• Containerization experience (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS)
• Familiarity with federal DevSecOps frameworks
• Scripting experience (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
• Monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Splunk, Datadog, Prometheus)
• Experience supporting federal IT contracts
