Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced
Senior Cloud Engineer
to help design, build, and scale secure, enterprise-grade cloud environments in Microsoft Azure. This role will play a critical part in standing up Azure Landing Zones, enabling DevOps best practices, and supporting modern application platforms. You will work closely with infrastructure, security, and application teams to ensure cloud solutions are reliable, scalable, and aligned with organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage Azure cloud environments, including Azure Landing Zones
- Build and maintain infrastructure as code using ARM templates, Terraform, and Bicep
- Support and optimize Azure services such as Virtual Machines, App Services, Functions, AKS, networking, and storage
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions
- Implement automation and scripting using PowerShell, Python, or similar tools
- Partner with security teams to implement DevSecOps practices and ensure compliance with cloud security standards
- Troubleshoot complex cloud issues and drive root cause resolution
- Collaborate across teams and provide guidance on Azure best practices and architecture patterns
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 6 to 10 years of overall IT experience
- At least 5 years of hands-on cloud engineering experience
- Demonstrated success standing up Azure Landing Zones and enterprise Azure environments
Technical Skills
Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure, including:
- Azure Virtual Machines
- Azure App Services and Functions
- Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
- Azure DevOps
- Strong understanding of:
- Infrastructure as Code using ARM, Terraform, and Bicep
- C# and modern development concepts
- Azure networking concepts including VNETs, VPNs, load balancers, and firewalls
- Proficiency in containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline tools and automation
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices, cloud security best practices, and compliance standards
Nice to Have
- Experience working with additional cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud
- Azure certifications such as: Azure Solutions Architect or Azure DevOps Engineer
