Cloud Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Cloud Engineer with

2–5 years of hands-on experience

in securing cloud environments across AWS/Azure platforms. The ideal candidate will have practical exposure to implementing security best practices, managing identity and access controls, and monitoring cloud infrastructure for threats. This role requires close collaboration with DevOps and engineering teams to ensure secure and scalable deployments in a hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and manage security controls in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Monitor cloud environments for security threats and vulnerabilities
• Configure IAM roles, policies, and access controls
• Conduct security assessments, audits, and risk analysis
• Integrate security tools into CI/CD pipelines
• Respond to incidents and perform root cause analysis
• Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO, SOC2, etc.)

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure preferred)
• Experience with IAM, VPC, firewalls, and encryption
• Familiarity with security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners)
• Understanding of networking concepts and protocols
• Hands-on experience with scripting (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with DevSecOps practices
• Certifications like AWS Security Specialty / CEH / CISSP
• Knowledge of container security (Docker, Kubernetes)
