Cloud Engineer

We are working with a leading technology solutions provider, dedicated to developing and implementing innovative software solutions for a diverse client base. This company focuses on enhancing digital infrastructure and delivering cutting-edge cloud platforms.

The Role

• Design, implement, and support hybrid cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google) with a strong focus on networking, compute, storage, security, scalability, and high availability
• Integrate DevOps practices, supporting CI/CD pipelines, application deployment, API integration, containers, and configuration management, especially in .NET environments
• Provide technical oversight for cloud infrastructure, ensuring compliance with State and Federal regulations (e.g., NIST, IRS Pub 1075)
• Collaborate with vendors, architects, developers, and security teams on design discussions, architecture reviews, and configuration validation
• Develop technical knowledge to assume long-term ownership and support of cloud solutions post-project closeout
• Ensure security, compliance, privacy, reliability, and operational support are key considerations in all cloud implementations

What You'll Need

• Proven experience in designing, implementing, and supporting hybrid cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google)
• Strong understanding of networking, compute, storage, security, scalability, and high availability principles
• Experience with DevOps integration, CI/CD pipelines, application deployment, and containerization
• Proficiency in programming, scripting, configuration, and troubleshooting complex infrastructure and application issues
• Ability to optimize performance and cost, and work collaboratively with diverse teams
• Cloud certification (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) is highly preferred
