Cloud Engineer

position. You’ll be part of an international team, working in a vibrant environment that encourages the exchange of knowledge and ideas both onsite and offsite.

Your Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver AKS-based platform services as part of a central cloud platform team.
• Ensure reliable, secure, and scalable operation of platform services across their lifecycle.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, project teams, and architects to design Azure solutions with a primary focus on AKS-based platforms and containerized workloads.
• Support and advise stakeholders with deep technical expertise, validating designs and contributing to solutions.
• Contribute to standardisation and consistency of Azure environments in alignment with centrally defined governance standards.
• Continuously improve platform services and engineering practices.
• Maintain clear and up-to-date technical documentation, standards, and blueprints.

Your Profile:

• Experience in Azure cloud engineering within governed enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of Azure core components (networking, Entra ID, security, monitoring, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) (networking, security, scaling, workload design).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred) and CI/CD (e.g. Azure DevOps).
• Practical experience in deploying and managing Kubernetes workloads (configuration, scaling, resource management).
• Experience with monitoring and observability in Azure and Kubernetes environments (metrics, logging, alerting).
• Strong troubleshooting capabilities in complex container-based environments.
• Solid understanding of enterprise network architectures (e.g. routing, segmentation, connectivity patterns) and the ability to support network teams during troubleshooting of connectivity and integration issues.
• Ability to work in a structured and analytical manner.
• Strong documentation and communication skills in an international setup.
• Ability to work in a service-oriented model supporting multiple internal customers.
• Good command of English.
