Our client is seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to support, design, and maintain cloud‑based infrastructure in a hybrid environment. This role, based in Cleveland, OH, is well‑suited for a technically strong engineer who enjoys building scalable solutions, improving reliability, and collaborating with development and IT teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure and services
- Support cloud environments across availability, performance, security, and scalability
- Manage and optimize cloud resources, cost, and usage
- Automate cloud deployments and infrastructure using scripting or IaC tools
- Monitor cloud systems and troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Support hybrid environments integrating on‑prem and cloud systems
- Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams
- Implement best practices for cloud security, backup, and disaster recovery
- Assist with cloud migrations and modernization initiatives
Qualifications
- 3\+ years of cloud engineering or infrastructure experience
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Knowledge of networking, security, and system administration concepts
- Experience with automation tools, scripting, or Infrastructure as Code
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
