Role Description

The Code Ninja Sensei is a full-time, on-site role based in Dacula, GA. In this position, the Sensei guides and mentors kids through coding lessons, game-building activities, and structured learning paths, ensuring a fun, safe, and inclusive environment. Day-to-day responsibilities include delivering curriculum, providing hands-on coaching, monitoring student progress, and adapting instruction to different ages and skill levels. The Sensei also helps with center operations such as class setup, student check-in, communicating with families, and supporting events or workshops. Collaboration with other team members to improve learning experiences and uphold Code Ninjas’ standards is essential.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Martial Arts Instruction, with the ability to translate discipline, focus, and respect into an engaging learning environment.
  • Experience in Taekwondo and related martial arts that support structured training and positive coaching techniques.
  • Knowledge of Boxing and Kickboxing fundamentals that can be used to inspire confidence, resilience, and teamwork.
  • Background in Training, including coaching youth or leading group activities in educational, recreational, or sports settings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with children and their families in a welcoming and professional manner.
  • Patience, adaptability, and enthusiasm for working with kids of varying ages and skill levels.
  • Ability to follow a structured curriculum while adding creative, age-appropriate engagement techniques.
  • Prior experience in youth education, tutoring, camps, or after-school programs is highly beneficial.
  • Reliability in maintaining schedules, adhering to safety protocols, and collaborating within a team-oriented environment.
