Job Description

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

  • To lead integrated internal and external communications to strengthen HEINEKEN Myanmar’s reputation, drive employee engagement, and support business priorities.
  • The role acts as a strategic partner to leadership, ensuring consistent messaging, effective stakeholder engagement, and proactive reputation management.

RESPONSIBILITY

Responsible for all Internal and External Communications of HEINEKEN Myanmar

  • Develop and execute integrated communication strategies aligned with business priorities
  • Drive employee engagement through internal communications, including content, campaigns, and management of internal platforms
  • Support leadership communications and act as a communications advisor for cross-functional initiatives
  • Lead external communications to strengthen corporate reputation and employer branding (EVP), including digital content and channel management
  • Partner with Marketing and agencies to deliver impactful brand campaigns, ensuring alignment with corporate standards and regulatory requirements
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media, influencers, and key external stakeholders
  • Lead planning and execution of key internal events (e.g., town halls, company forums, leadership engagements/ meetings)
  • Monitor media and social media, providing insights, identifying risks, and advising on appropriate actions
  • Manage media relations, including preparation of press materials and coordination of media engagements
  • Support crisis communication planning and execution to protect company reputation

REQUIREMENTS

Education \& Other Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field

Experience \& Knowledge

  • Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience, preferably in FMCG or international companies
  • Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills in Myanmar and English
  • Experience in PR, media relations, and digital/social media
  • Strong stakeholder management, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Creative, proactive, and able to work effectively across teams

Language

  • Myanmar and Fluent English
