Role Description

The Computer Teacher will conduct daily classroom sessions in computer science and related subjects for school students at the Siliguri campus. Responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging lessons, demonstrating programming concepts, guiding students through practical lab work, and assessing student performance through assignments and exams. The role involves developing and updating computer curriculum materials, maintaining classroom and lab discipline, and providing individual support to learners who need additional help. The Computer Teacher will collaborate with other faculty members, participate in school events, and contribute to academic planning. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Siliguri.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science, including basic hardware, software, and operating systems.
• Proficiency in Programming concepts and at least one or two commonly used programming languages.
• Effective Communication skills for explaining technical concepts clearly to school students.
• Experience or training in Curriculum Development and lesson planning for computer education.
• Demonstrated Teaching skills, including classroom management and student engagement.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; a B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification is an advantage.
• Experience teaching school-level computer subjects or mentoring students in a classroom or lab environment.
• Ability to use educational technology, learning management systems, and multimedia tools to enhance instruction.
• Strong organizational skills, patience, and a learner-centered approach.
