This position is in office, non-remote, in our Carlsbad location.

Position Overview

We are seeking a full-time Construction Project Manager to add to our team. This role offers the opportunity for increasing responsibility based on experience and performance. The Project Manager will oversee multi-family construction projects from initial scheduling through buyout and final completion, ensuring compliance with plans and contract requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multi-family construction projects from planning through completion
  • Oversee the full project lifecycle with accountability for project P\&L performance
  • Maintain and enforce project schedules, holding field teams accountable and addressing delays
  • Lead OAC (Owner-Architect-Contractor) meetings and ensure alignment across stakeholders
  • Manage all project financial processes, including buyout, change orders (CTCs), and draws
  • Prepare and maintain accurate project reporting and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations for prime contracts and subcontracts
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and field teams through consistent communication and coordination
  • Conduct regular job site visits to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to company standards and processes

Required Qualifications

  • 5–10 years of experience in multi-family construction and site work
  • Strong ability to read and interpret construction plans
  • Experience managing projects from scheduling through completion
  • Proficiency in Procore, Microsoft Word, Excel, MS Project, and general computer skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field
  • Experience working with repeat clients and relationship-based construction
