We’re seeking an experienced

Construction Superintendent

with a proven track record delivering

AHCA-regulated healthcare projects

in Florida. This role is ideal for a superintendent who thrives in active medical environments, understands the nuances of AHCA compliance, and can lead field operations with confidence, clarity, and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all on-site construction activities for healthcare and medical facility projects.
• Maintain strict compliance with

AHCA standards

, infection control protocols (ICRA), interim life safety measures (ILSM), and all state healthcare construction requirements.

• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and self-perform crews to ensure quality, safety, and schedule adherence.
• Conduct daily site walks, safety meetings, and progress reporting.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, owners, architects, and inspectors.
• Manage RFIs, field directives, and change coordination.
• Ensure clean, safe, and operationally sensitive work zones within active healthcare facilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum

5\+ years

as a Superintendent, with

direct AHCA project experience

required.

• Strong understanding of healthcare construction codes, permitting, and inspection processes.
• Demonstrated success managing renovations, expansions, or new construction in hospitals, clinics, or medical office buildings.
• OSHA 30 preferred; ICRA/ILSM training a plus.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage fast-paced schedules and maintain professionalism in occupied medical environments.
