Job Title
Content Marketing Manager
Salary
$150K - $200K \+ Equity
Company Description
Console is a $29M Series A startup backed by Thrive Capital building AI agents that power autonomous enterprises. Replacing manual ticketing and approvals, Console enables companies like Databricks and Figma to automate entire categories of work across IT, HR, Legal, and Finance through integrations with Slack and Teams.
Job Description
As Console's first Content Marketing Manager, you will build the content function from scratch. You’ll own the end-to-end engine, focusing on narrative-driven storytelling and hands-on SEO, AEO, and GEO execution. By crafting high-impact content for IT decision-makers, you will turn organic search and generative engine optimization into a predictable driver of pipeline and awareness.
Location
San Francisco, USA
Why this role is remarkable
- Own the entire content engine from day one, transitioning from a "zero to one" builder to scaling a world-class brand voice at a high-growth startup.
- Join a elite team backed by Thrive Capital (investors in OpenAI and Stripe) while working directly with high-profile customers like Databricks and Cursor.
- Focus on the cutting edge of marketing by mastering AEO and GEO, ensuring Console leads the shift toward AI-driven search and answer engine landscapes.
What You Will Do
- Personally execute technical SEO audits, keyword research, and optimization strategies specifically designed for AI answer engines and generative search landscapes.
- Create narrative-driven content across various formats, including case studies, newsletters, sales enablement decks, and thought leadership pieces tailored for technical IT audiences.
- Partner with growth leaders and founders to manage the full content lifecycle from ideation and distribution to measuring commercial impact on the sales pipeline.
The ideal candidate
- Has 3-5\+ years of experience in B2B SaaS content marketing with a proven track record of driving organic growth through hands-on SEO execution.
- Possesses exceptional writing skills and a commercial mindset, prioritizing revenue-generating content and pipeline impact over vanity metrics or purely brand-focused output.
- Demonstrates technical proficiency in marketing automation and CMS tools, with the ability to navigate and adapt to the evolving landscape of AI-driven search.
Who are Jack \& Jill?
Ok, I'll go first. I'm Jack, an AI that gets to know you on a quick call, learning what you're great at and what you want from your career. Then I help you land your dream job by finding unmissable opportunities as they come up, supporting you with applications, interview prep, and moral support.
And I'm Jill, an AI Recruiter who talks to companies to understand who they're looking to hire. Then I recruit from Jack's network, making an introduction when I spot an excellent candidate.
How does this work?
- Jack's an AI agent for job searching and career coaching. He works for you.
- Jill is the AI recruiter working for the company. She recruits from Jack's network.
- If it's a match and the company wants to meet you, they'll make the intro. In the meantime, if you'd like, Jack will send you excellent alternatives.
We never post fake jobs
This isn't a trick. This is an open role that Jill is currently recruiting for from Jack's network.
Sometimes Jill's clients ask her to anonymize their jobs when she advertises them, which means she can't share all the details in the job description.
We appreciate this can make them look a bit suspect, but there isn't much we can do about it.
Give Jack a spin! You could land this role. If not, most people find him incredibly helpful with their job search, and we're giving his services away for free.
