About the Role:

We are seeking an on-site in Everett, Washington Customer-Facing Contracts Manager to join our small aerospace manufacturing operations team. This role serves as the primary commercial liaison between our company and aerospace customers, ensuring successful contract execution from proposal through production and delivery.

Your will play a key role in managing contractual obligations, supporting plant operations, and ensuring alignment between customer expectations and manufacturing capabilities.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field
  • 5\+ years of experience in contracts, program management, or commercial roles within manufacturing or aerospace
  • Experience working directly with customers in a production environment
  • Strong understanding of contract terms, pricing structures, and supply agreements
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Aerospace or defense manufacturing experience
  • Familiarity with FAR/DFARS and export compliance regulations
  • Experience supporting production programs and shop floor operations
  • Professional certification (CPCM, PMP, or similar)

Responsibilities:

Customer \& Program Interface

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers on all contractual and commercial matters
  • Support customer meetings, production reviews, and program status updates
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with aerospace OEMs and Tier 1 customers

Contract Lifecycle Management

  • Lead contract review, negotiation, and administration for production programs, long-term agreements (LTAs), and amendments
  • Interpret and communicate contract requirements to manufacturing, engineering, and operations teams
  • Ensure contract changes (pricing, delivery schedules, scope) are properly managed and documented

Manufacturing \& Operations Alignment

  • Partner closely with plant leadership, production planning, and supply chain to ensure contractual commitments are met
  • Support resolution of production-related issues impacting contract performance (delivery delays, quality concerns, etc.)
  • Drive alignment between contractual requirements and shop floor execution

Commercial \& Financial Management

  • Monitor program financial performance, including revenue, margin, and cost targets
  • Support pricing strategy, quotations, and proposal development for new and existing business
  • Lead negotiations on change orders, claims, and customer requests
  • Ensure adherence to quality control procedures and company policies.
  • Maintain a clean and organized inspection area following safety guidelines.
  • Communicate inspection findings clearly to supervisors and production staff.

Risk, Compliance \& Quality

  • Identify and mitigate contractual and operational risks within a manufacturing environment
  • Ensure compliance with aerospace regulations and standards (FAR/DFARS, ITAR/EAR, AS9100 as applicable)
  • Support internal and external audits, including customer audits
