This role combines creative thinking, hands-on writing, and stewardship of the FAB brand voice.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop compelling, on-brand copy across campaigns, product launches, paid media, organic social, influencer, PR, email, DTC, retail, packaging, and other brand touchpoints.
- Translate brand, consumer, and marketing strategy into clear creative concepts and messaging for campaigns, launches, activations, and always-on storytelling.
- Partner closely with designers, creative leads, and cross-functional teams to develop cohesive work in which the words and visuals feel like one idea.
- Own copy projects from initial brief through final execution, balancing conceptual thinking with hands-on writing, editing, and proofreading.
- Adapt messaging for different channels, audiences, and business objectives while maintaining a consistent and recognizable brand voice.
- Translate product benefits, ingredients, claims, and complex skincare information into language that feels clear, human, and compelling.
- Help define, protect, and evolve FAB’s voice and tone across channels and markets.
- Work closely with social, influencer, PR, CRM, digital, product, education, brand, and legal partners to ensure copy is strategic, accurate, and ready for market.
- Stay connected to culture, consumer behavior, language, and platform trends to keep the brand voice relevant and resonant.
- Manage multiple projects and shifting priorities while maintaining a high standard of creative quality and attention to detail.
Job Qualifications
- 3\+ years of copywriting experience within an in-house creative team, agency, or consumer brand environment.
- A portfolio demonstrating strong conceptual thinking, brand storytelling, and writing across a range of channels and formats.
- Strong command of voice, tone, grammar, editing, and proofreading.
- Experience developing creative concepts and extending a single idea across multiple consumer touchpoints.
- An understanding of how copy should shift across social, digital, CRM, retail, packaging, paid media, and long-form brand storytelling.
- The ability to translate strategy and complex information into writing that is clear, engaging, and easy to understand.
- A highly collaborative approach and experience partnering with designers, art directors, marketers, strategists, and cross-functional teams.
- The ability to receive feedback, ask thoughtful questions, and revise quickly without losing the strength of the idea.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
- An interest in beauty, skincare, culture, and the way consumers communicate and engage with brands.
- Experience within beauty, skincare, wellness, or another regulated consumer category is preferred.
- Familiarity with product claims, legal review, global markets, or localized copy development is a plus.
