Creative Director

to take full ownership of how that story is told.

The Role

We’re hiring a

Creative Director

to lead and execute Vanspeed’s entire content and brand strategy across all platforms.

This is not a “manage an agency” role.

This is a

hands-on, build-the-brand role

.

You will be responsible for:

  • Defining the creative vision
  • Producing high-quality photo and video content
  • Leading storytelling across social, web, and campaigns
  • Building a repeatable, scalable content engine

You will work directly with the CEO and play a critical role in shaping the next phase of Vanspeed’s growth.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Direction \& Brand Ownership

  • Define and evolve Vanspeed’s visual identity and storytelling style
  • Ensure consistency across all touchpoints (social, website, ads, events)
  • Develop campaign concepts that position Vanspeed as a premium lifestyle brand

Content Strategy \& Execution

  • Build and own a

full-funnel content strategy

(awareness → consideration → conversion)

  • Plan and execute content calendars across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and web
  • Turn product features into compelling lifestyle-driven narratives

Photo \& Video Production

  • Lead and execute shoots (on-location, studio, lifestyle environments)
  • Capture high-end photo and video content (camera work, lighting, composition)
  • Direct talent, scenes, and environments to match brand standards
  • Edit or oversee editing to ensure premium output

Creative Systems \& Team Building

  • Build workflows for consistent, high-volume content production
  • Collaborate with internal and remote editing/marketing teams
  • Eventually build and lead a small creative team (photographers, editors, designers)

Performance \& Optimization

  • Analyze content performance and refine creative direction accordingly
  • Test hooks, formats, and storytelling angles to drive engagement and leads
  • Align creative output with sales goals (vehicle inquiries, conversions)

What We’re Looking For

Core Requirements

  • Strong background in

photo and video production

(portfolio required)

  • Proven experience creating content for

premium/lifestyle brands

  • Ability to both

conceptualize and execute

(strategy \+ hands-on creation)

  • Deep understanding of social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube)
  • Strong eye for design, composition, lighting, and storytelling
  • Ability to travel for shoot locations

Ideal Candidate

  • Has built or scaled a brand’s visual presence before
  • Understands how to make content that

feels premium, not promotional

  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments
  • Obsessed with quality, detail, and brand consistency
  • Passion for outdoor lifestyle, travel, or automotive is a big plus!
  • Website/Shopify experience is a plus!
