As a Cribl lead DevOps engineer on the Enterprise Monitoring Data team, you will help design, implement, and mature enterprise-scale observability solutions and data ingestion patterns. As a hands-on technical leader with significant experience in Cribl and Splunk, you will help accelerate platform adoption, lead large-scale ingestion and migration efforts, improve operational maturity, and mentor engineers in observability, data ingestion, and platform engineering best practices. In this role, you will utilize your expertise in architecting, operating, and supporting production-scale telemetry and data pipeline environments while solving complex engineering challenges.

Must-have qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in an Information Technology discipline or related field of study (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering, Telecommunication, Math) and minimum of six years working with operating system hardware and/or software components in designing and scripting infrastructure solutions.
  • In lieu of degree, minimum of eight years related experience working with operating system hardware and/or software components in designing and scripting infrastructure solutions.

Preferred skills

  • Significant hands-on experience designing, implementing, and supporting Cribl pipelines in production environments.
  • Experience integrating Cribl with Splunk and other observability, analytics, or storage platforms.
  • Experience leading large-scale data ingestion, migration, or observability platform initiatives.
  • Experience with observability, telemetry, OpenTelemetry, or modern monitoring architectures.
  • Experience providing technical leadership, mentoring engineers, and establishing platform engineering best practices.

Compensation

  • $140,000-$160,000/year
  • Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 40% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
