A company in the IT outsourcing industry is hiring for a CTO / COO position. This is a senior leadership opportunity for a technology professional who wants to shape company-wide technical direction, work closely with Japanese stakeholders, and drive innovation across Web System, digital transformation, and AI-related initiatives. The role is well-suited for candidates who enjoy combining strategic leadership with deep technical decision-making in a multilingual and multicultural environment.

Job Description

• Lead the overall technology strategy and ensure high technical quality across company projects
• Review and guide system architecture for large-scale Web System projects and specialized digital transformation solutions
• Drive research and practical application of AI to improve performance and create competitive advantages
• Build a long-term technology roadmap aligned with the company’s growth vision
• Lead the selection of core technologies, frameworks, and programming languages for each stage of development
• Establish and standardize software development processes, including Agile, Scrum, and DevOps practices
• Lead, inspire, and develop engineering and software architecture teams while promoting a culture of learning and innovation

Qualifications

• JLPT N1 level or equivalent Japanese proficiency, with the ability to work directly with Japanese partners and clients
• Experience in IT outsourcing for the Japanese market
• Strong understanding of Japanese working culture, quality mindset, and client expectations
• Strong expertise in system architecture, with a broad full-stack perspective covering Web, Mobile, and Cloud
• Practical knowledge and experience in digital transformation and AI-related projects
• Ability to handle complex technical issues hands-on when needed
• Strong leadership capability, strategic thinking, and confident decision-making skills
• Excellent negotiation, persuasion, and technical presentation skills in both Vietnamese and Japanese
• Preferred candidates include Vietnamese professionals who have worked or are currently working in Japan and wish to return to Vietnam, or senior professionals from large Japanese IT organizations
