As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves analyzing various application components and designing solutions tailored to client needs. The role includes coding and testing multiple parts of software applications, ensuring they meet quality standards. Additionally, the engineer performs maintenance and implements enhancements to improve existing systems, collaborating with different teams to deliver effective software solutions across diverse client projects.

Roles \& Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead efforts to identify and resolve technical challenges within projects to ensure timely delivery.
• Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and enhance team capabilities.
• Coordinate cross-functional communication to align project goals and technical requirements.

Professional \& Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in API Management.
• Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable APIs.
• Strong understanding of RESTful and SOAP web services.
• Knowledge of security protocols and authentication mechanisms related to API usage.
• Familiarity with API gateways and lifecycle management tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize API performance in complex environments.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in API Management.
• This position is based at our Chennai office.
