Cyber Security Analyst

Cyber Security Analyst \| Hybrid, 3 days in North Leicester \| £55,000 – £60,000 \+ Bonus, private medical

We are working with a FTSE100 CISO to build a first-class security capability, including this Cyber Security Analyst role to enhance their security operations capability, working closely with a 24x7 third-party SOC, giving you hands-on exposure to real-world threats, incidents, and vulnerability management.

The role will be a blend of some SOC work, combined with a range of other initiatives as the cyber team grows, including involvement in security engineering and tooling.

What you’ll be doing:

• Monitoring and triaging security alerts from internal systems and a third-party SOC
• Supporting investigation, containment, and remediation of security incidents
• Working with SIEM, EDR, threat intelligence feeds, and vulnerability scanning tools
• Helping improve detection, response playbooks, and security documentation
• Collaborating with IT and infrastructure teams on vulnerability remediation
• Supporting continuous improvement across security operations and controls

Ideal Candidate:

• Established commercial cybersecurity and/or SOC experience.
• Hands-on exposure to incident investigations and risk remediation
• Working knowledge of SIEM, endpoint security, and network fundamentals
• Understanding of common cyber threats and incident response principles
