Your missions?

  • Own and drive the product vision and roadmap for IoT-connected solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical feasibility.
  • Define, prioritize and maintain a healthy product backlog, writing clear epics, user stories and acceptance criteria ready for development teams.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders, engineering teams, and connectivity/hardware experts, ensuring shared understanding across all parties.
  • Lead and facilitate sprint ceremonies (planning, review, retrospective), keeping delivery on track in a complex, multi-team environment.
  • Make decisive product trade-offs by balancing user needs, technical constraints, and business priorities across the IoT ecosystem (devices, firmware, cloud, mobile).
  • Monitor product performance post-release, collecting data and user feedback to drive continuous improvement iterations.
  • Identify and manage cross-functional dependencies, risks and blockers, escalating when necessary and proactively following up to closure.
  • Contribute to the definition of connectivity standards, device behaviour specifications, and integration requirements with backend and mobile platforms.

Your profile?

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Product Management or equivalent experience.
  • At least 7 years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, with a proven track record in IoT, connected devices or embedded systems environments.
  • Background in consumer electronics

, smart home or industrial IoT.

• Previous experience in connectivity platform migrations or large-scale IoT programme rollouts.

  • Strong hands-on experience with agile delivery frameworks and backlog management tools (e.g. Jira); ability to write development-ready stories bridging hardware behaviour, firmware, cloud services and mobile applications.
  • Fluent

English at C1 level

(spoken and written); Italian fluency required for daily collaboration in Italy.

  • Exceptional stakeholder management, prioritization and communication skills; comfortable operating in large, multi-team programmes with high ambiguity and fast-changing requirements.
  • Experience with MQTT, device management platforms, or edge computing.
  • Exposure to mobile app product ownership (iOS/Android) alongside device ecosystems.

Compensation \& Pay Transparency

  • Gross Annual Salary (Range: EUR 30,000 – EUR 43,000).
  • Applicable CCNL: Commerce Sector (CCNL Commercio).
  • Freelance option available (remote across Italy): EUR 200 – EUR 250/day.
  • The salary range has been determined based on objective and gender-neutral criteria.
  • During the recruitment process, we will not ask for information about your current or previous salary.
