Chief Technology Officer

The CTO will guide the technical vision, strategy, and execution across software development, AI/ML, infrastructure, and product management, while fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration. Accountabilities

• Lead all technical departments including Software Development, Machine Learning, DevOps \& Infrastructure, Support, and Product Management, overseeing more than 55 staff members
• Define and execute the technical strategy, ensuring the successful delivery and continuous enhancement of SaaS products and solutions
• Act as a hands-on technical architect, guiding engineering teams through complex problem-solving and code-level challenges when needed
• Drive adoption and development of AI paradigms across teams, fostering innovation and best practices
• Mentor and develop leaders within the technical organization, promoting a culture of high EQ, collaboration, and professional growth
• Oversee massive-scale operations, including management of over 12 Petabytes of data and processing more than 1\.5 billion items per month
• Collaborate with leadership to ensure technology decisions align with business goals, user needs, and long-term strategic priorities

Requirements

• Proven experience as a CTO, VP of Engineering, or senior technical leader in SaaS or high-scale technology environments
• Strong background in software architecture, development best practices, and cloud-based infrastructure (AWS experience preferred)
• Hands-on familiarity with multiple programming languages such as Java, Python, React, Rust, and database technologies including MySQL, Elastic Search, and OpenSearch
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and large-scale system operations
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor technical leaders and teams in a remote-first environment
• Strong understanding of AI/ML development paradigms and ability to drive adoption within engineering teams
• Excellent interpersonal skills and EQ, with a focus on leading people, not just processes
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-scale, startup-like environment and solve complex engineering challenges at scale
