C++ Trading Systems Developer

We are hiring a

C\+\+ Trading Systems Developer

to help build and optimize the technology that powers live

equities and futures trading

at a technology-driven hedge fund.

This role sits close to trading and quantitative teams and focuses on designing highly performant, low-latency systems that support execution, market connectivity, and real-time trading infrastructure. You will work on systems where engineering decisions directly impact trading performance, reliability, and scalability.

What You’ll Be Working On

• Designing and building high-performance trading systems in modern

C\+\+

• Developing low-latency infrastructure for

equities and futures trading

• Building systems for:
• Market data ingestion and processing
• Order routing and execution workflows
• Exchange connectivity and trading infrastructure
• Real-time risk and monitoring systems
• Improving performance, resiliency, and observability of production systems

What We’re Looking For

Required

• 2-7 years of commercial software engineering experience
• Strong experience in

C\+\+ (C\+\+17/20 preferred)

• Fundamental understanding of: multithreading and concurrency
• Experience with Linux systems and systems programming
• Experience building

real-time, distributed, or performance-critical systems

Preferred

• Experience with

electronic trading systems

, particularly

equities and/or futures markets

• Familiarity with: Exchange connectivity, Market data systems, FIX, messaging systems
• Knowledge of market microstructure concepts
• Experience with lock-free programming, TCP/UDP networking, or performance profiling tools
• Python exposure for tooling, automation, or internal workflows
